 In front of the Bed and Breakfast Verona Mambrotta there are horse breeding stables with a horse riding school where you can go horse riding guided by an instructor. The school also offers: - Horses stables - Fields for working (40 by 55) - Grass fields - Taming dome - Saddle hire, a Club House and other Services - Horse trek If you love art and culture, only 8Km from the B&B you can visit the beautiful town of Verona situated along the river Adige. Its historical centres are the most beautiful in Italy and you can visit Juliet‘s house, the roman amphi-theatre (the Arena), piazza delle Erbe, Castelvecchio, Arche Scaligere, Ponte Pietra, the basilica of St. Zeno, Porta Leoni. During the summer you can attend the theatre shows or the lyrical operas that take are shown in the Arena. Romeo and Juliet and the Arena of Verona are the Verona’s universally known symbols; it is a history that has carried on still today, attracting lots of visitors each year. In Verona you can find very important fairs such as: Fiera Cavalli (November), Vinitaly (march-April), Luxury and Yacht (February), Agrifood (November) and also Acquamarina – Marmomac, Abitare il tempo, Vivi la casa…and much more. Other places if interest: Bolca (30Km): probably the most famous site of pre-historic fossils found in our country, where you can also see crocodiles, turtles and palm trees. LAKE GARDA (35Km): the Lake offers lots of historical and natural attractions to visit even for a day trip you can go visit Gardaland, Caneva World, Parco zoo safari, Parco Sigurtà. Soave (9Km): is also very close. In Soave you can visit and discover the qualified world of the Verona’s white wines. This area has volcanic origins therefore has created an ideal habitat for the production of the delicious white wines called “Soave” and “Recioto di Soave”. The red wines, like “Recioto Della Valpolicella” or “Amarone”, can be tasted in Valpolicella, which is a part of Verona situated between the plains and the Lessini Mountains, which is known as the land of great culture and excellent wines.
